- —A-Train to Mother's Milk
Reginald "Reggie" Franklin, also known as A-Train, is a protagonist from the The Boys series. He appeared in a Bonus episode of Death Battle, The Seven Battle Royale, where he fought against Queen Maeve, The Deep, Starlight, and Billy Butcher.
History
Reggie Franklin was born with a drug called Compound V injected into his veins, making him a superhuman with the ability to move at unparalleled speeds, a power he would use to join Vought International's prestigious superhero team, The Seven. Taking up the moniker "A-Train", he became a beloved superhero, renown for being the fastest man alive. But in reality, both his supposed heroic deeds and personality were fake, as he was truly just a self-centered, greedy man who recklessly killed people due to his Compound V addiction and unquestioningly committed terrible crimes under Homelander's command, all in efforts to stay at the top. This made him a target of the Supe-hunting vigilante group, The Boys.
Even the fastest man has his problems catch up to him, though; his addiction soon granted him a heart problem, preventing him from running and leading to a massive fall from grace. During an attempt to regain his public image, he accidentally caused his brother to get paralyzed by another corrupt Supe. Having witnessed Homelander and Vought's indifference to the whole situation, A-Train finally came to realize the injustice of the people whose orders he followed. After a literal change of heart, he regained his powers, which he used to begin helping The Boys behind Homelander's back. Though he knows being caught — which would come with certain death — is only inevitable, he continues helping regardless. Because for the first time in his life, A-Train began feeling a thrill that bloodstained vanity could never give: the rush of being a real hero.

- Despite ultimately losing the Battle Royale, A-Train managed to kill The Deep (possibly accidentally) before getting killed by Queen Maeve.

Notes
- ↑ While the comic book version of A-Train debuted in The Boys #1 from 2006, The Seven Battle Royale exclusively used his counterpart from the live-action show adaptation, which would make his first appearance be from said show.
