The Beta A.I. Unit, also known as Agent "Tex" Texas, is one of the main protagonists of the Red vs. Blue series. She appeared in the 136th episode of Death Battle, Red VS Blue, where she and her teammates fought against the Red Team.
History
Agent Texas was one of the top members of Project Freelancer and became one of the Director's most prized soldiers to use. Unlike most of the other Freelancers, who usually relied on their A.I.s to perform certain tasks, Tex preferred to depend on her power alone, making her quite unique. When Church died in a freak accident, the Blue Team called her to help defeat the Red Team, and she became an unofficial member of the team. In most of their battles, Tex found herself fighting against her own A.I. Omega, who had a tendency to take over other soldiers such as Doc or Captain Flowers. However, Tex has a dark truth. In reality, she is the Beta A.I. Fragment, created from the Alpha A.I. as a by-product of the Director's memories of his deceased wife. But Tex would not let the revelation consume her and kept on fighting the good fight, even after being "reborn".

Beta Texas appeared frequently in Meta VS Carolina as The Meta's supporting A.I., as she assisted him in trying to defeat Agent Carolina. In the end, she and every other A.I. got distracted by Epsilon long enough to get destroyed alongside The Meta's head.
