Akame is one of the main protagonists of the Akame ga Kill! series. She appeared in the 51st episode of DBX, Akame VS Killua, where she fought against Killua Zoldyck from the Hunter × Hunter series.
History
Born into a poor family, Akame and her sister were sold off to the Empire by their parents at a young age. Forced into a cruel exam, the two would be put inside of a forest inhabited by many danger beasts, the only goal being to survive and escape the forest. Of the 100 children participating in the exam, Akame and her sister were among the few who managed to survive, but were separated when they were refused to allow the siblings to join the same group. As the stronger of the two sisters, Akame was accepted into Gozuki's new Assassin squad and became one of his adoptive children, trained in the arts of espionage and combat to become a highly effective killer. However, she would find out that she was actually killing people under the control of the corrupt Empire and soon left. Eventually, she was found by a woman named Najenda, who asked her to join Night Raid, in which she would prove to be one of its deadliest fighters.
