En Sabah Nur, also known as Apocalypse, is a supervillain from Marvel Comics. He appeared in the 165th episode of Death Battle, Black Adam VS Apocalypse, where he fought against Black Adam from DC Comics.
He also appeared in the 90th episode of DBX, Apocalypse VS Black Adam, where he fought against Black Adam from DC Comics.
History
En Sabah Nur was a member of the Akkaba tribe when he was born in ancient Egypt around 3,000 B.C. Because of the X-Gene, Nur was born with gray skin and blue lines across his lips and face as an infant. The tribe abandoned the infant, who was ugly and deformed, to die in the scorching desert sun. However, he was soon rescued and adopted by a tribe of conquerors, who taught him the philosophy of “survival of the fittest”, which would prove useful as almost everyone Nur encountered despised him enough to try and kill him. As Nur grew, he surpassed his other tribesmen in intelligence and strength. After his tribe was killed and he was forced to work as a slave, Nur snapped and embraced the perceived truth of himself, hellbent on proving it with his newly developed mutant abilities. And after a fateful visit from the time traveler Cable, he would merge with technology from his era and build a veritable army to aid him in conquering all that exists, not as En Sabah Nur, but as... "Apocalypse".
