Interlude
The scene opens with the lights flickering on in the arena and the camera panning over to reveal the large crowd of people watching the show. Ringmaster makes his appearance as he steps onto the main stage and walks towards his microphone which he then grabs in order to properly introduce himself to his audience.
Ringmaster: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to MY Arena where there's no rules, no research, only bloodshed! I am Ringmaster! Your announcer, your host extraordinaire for this extravaganza! And let me welcome you, to, the EXHIBITION!!! In today's match, we have TWO slithering snakes! Two petrifying beauties with enough power to scare anyone! In one corner, we have... the snake princess, captain of the Kuja, the Pirate Empress, BOA HANCOCK!!! And in the other corner, we have the original gorgon, the serpent of Sakura, the myth herself, MEDUSA!!! Let's size up the competition!
Comparison
First off, we have Boa, who is far from your average garden snake. Aside from her ability to maintain an impossible figure, she has some pretty stout martial arts skills, alongside the ability to turn people into stone, lasting snake stuff right there!
An animation of Ringmaster appears on screen.
Wait, wait, wait! I got a better one, uh... you could say she's got more than one way to make a man har- no. Ugh, that's gross, forget that one, no! Egh.
The animation of Ringmaster leaves quickly after.
Anyway, her petrification does have some limits: either she needs to physically touch someone, or against people who lust after her! Talk about an awkward way of finding out your crush is into you. Next up is Medusa! Yeah, like that Medusa, from Greek mythology! She came to the modern world in order to participate in the fifth Holy Grail War, serving as the Rider under Shinji Matou's commands, the combination of her nimble and stealthy moves with her mastery at using her chain daggers of throwing at melee weapon makes her one of the best Servants for sneak attacks. If any of this sounds confusing: don't worry, you're not alone, this series...
An animation of Ringmaster with a bulletin board appears.
Ringmaster: ...is all sorts of crazy! And let's not forget Boa is one of the few people who can use all three types of Haki. The first being Observation Haki, which can give people a sixth sense. Secondly, there's Armament Haki, which gives her the ability to use her own aura as a shield or a weapon, and last but not least, Conquerer's Haki, which lets the user manipulate weak-willed creatures, including some people, as if turning them to stone-
An animation of Ringmaster turning to stone appears.
Ringmaster: -wasn't enough. Staying on the motif of threes, whereas most Servants only have one Noble Phantasm, Medusa has three! She can petrify foes with her eyes, absorb enemies' souls with an area spell, and even summon a mighty pegasus, man, this anime is-
An animation of Ringmaster throwing the bulletin board can be seen.
Ringmaster: -BONKERS!! (laughs)
We cut to Ringmaster.
Ringmaster: Well, that's enough talk, let's see which one of these two slithering sirens has the power to win the EXHIBITION!!!
