Death Battle '25[Note 2] will be the set of Death Battle episodes released in 2025. It will premiere in late January or early February of 2025[1] and is planned to consist of at least 12 episodes and a Bonus episode.

Kickstarter Campaign

On July 30th, 2024, Death Battle announced on YouTube that it was going independent and launched its Kickstarter Campaign to fund Death Battle '24's episodes and potential future ones. The $75,000 goal was reached in 21 minutes, with several further stretch goals also being reached.
At least 12 episodes have been confirmed and funded for Death Battle '25, with the revealed matchups (in general, with some possibly bleeding into 2026) being Kratos VS Asura, Mahito VS Shigaraki, Ash VS Yugi, Simon the Digger VS White Lantern, Ruby VS Maka, Aang VS Traveler, Hulk VS Godzilla, and Gru VS Megamind, as well as Light VS Columbo as a Bonus episode made by Liam Swan. Additionally, there will also be a re-examination of Master Chief VS Doomguy (as voted on by backers), a fully hand-drawn episode by Luis Cruz, a 3D episode by Torrian Crawford, and a live-action episode by Ismahawk.
