King Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd is one of the main protagonists of the Fire Emblem series. He appeared in the 178th episode of Death Battle, Guts VS Dimitri, where he fought against Guts from the Berserk series.
History
Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd was born the crown prince of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and lived a life of luxury and comfort growing up as he befriended another royal, Edelgard von Hresvelg, giving her a dagger as a token of his affection. Soon however, his life took a turn for the worst as an incident known as the Tragedy of Duscur left him as the only surviving member of Faerghus' royal family. He sought sanctuary at the Garreg Mach Monastery's Officers Academy until he was fit to rule his soon-to-be Kingdom. Eventually, he grew into a capable military commander and leader, becoming the house leader of the Blue Lions. But then, at one point, Dimitri was betrayed by Edelgard and discovered that she seemingly had a hand in the Tragedy of Duscur. This, and the trauma that shaped him, awakened a deep-rooted need for vengeance and a strange bloodlust he could not control. With the Hero’s Relic Areadbhar in hand, Dimitri can either try to walk a long winding road of redemption, or give in to his ferocity and sink further into darkness.
