- —The Lotus on Excalibur
Excalibur is a protagonist from the Warframe series. He appeared in a Bonus episode of Death Battle, Excalibur VS Raiden, where he and The Lotus fought against Raiden from the Metal Gear series.
History
Many years following a global war against the beings known as Sentients, the ancient cybernetic warrior race known as the Tenno were spread all across the universe, where they lay dormant in cryosleep. While humanity lived in terror of the fascist Grineer Empire, the mysterious figure known as the Lotus reactivated the Tenno en masse to fight for the liberation of the entire solar system using bio-mechanical weaponized vessels known as Warframes. The first of these Warframes to ever be created was known as Excalibur, whose ninja-like abilities are focused on bladed melee combat, but is also a master of guns and stealth. With this complex mastery, Excalibur would be quick to jump back into his designated purpose of defending his world from those that would harm it.
