- —Charizard
Charizard are creatures from the Pokémon series. One appeared in the 33rd episode of Death Battle, Pokémon Battle Royale, where it fought against fellow starter Pokémon Venusaur and Blastoise. It[Note 1] returned for the 57th episode and Season 2 Finale, Pokémon VS Digimon, where it and Red fought against Tai Kamiya and Agumon from the Digimon series.
History
Charizard is the final evolution of the Kanto starter Pokémon, Charmander. Charizards are aggressive and prideful Fire/Flying-type Pokémon that love to fight and are difficult to properly train. From the skies, they constantly search for powerful opponents to face, as the more it battles, the more intense its flames will burn. Their fiery breath can even melt solid stone. But it has a sense of honor as well, and won't harm those who are weaker than it. It has been known to have a nasty temper, and when angered, it won't hesitate to burn everything around them down to the ground. Charizards are such popular Pokémon partly because they have the ability to Mega Evolve into two different Mega forms. In the Galar region, some Charizards have the ability to utilize Gigantamax. Some have even been owned by legendary Trainers like World Coronation Champion Ash Ketchum, Mega Evolution specialist Alain, Galar Champion Leon, and of course, Battle Legend Red.
