- —MegaMan Volnutt
MegaMan Volnutt (born MegaMan Trigger) is the main protagonist of the Mega Man Legends series. He appeared in the 105th episode of Death Battle, Mega Man Battle Royale, where he fought against fellow Mega Men Mega Man, Mega Man X, MegaMan.EXE, and Star Force Mega Man.
History
MegaMan Trigger was born in an era where the Earth had suffered from a worldwide flood which caused humanity to become near-extinct, with only small islands capable of populating what remained of civilization. With energy demands increasing for machinery, treasure hunters called Diggers searched for Quantum Refractors in ancient ruins, as well as an item of infinite power known only as the Mother Lode, which would be capable of ending the energy crisis. Trigger's original master had ordered him to destroy the Master System, a device that, while originally meant to help humanity, was causing more harm than good. Trigger obeyed, but was found out and defeated by an operator named Sera, who regressed his mind back to that of a child and sent him to Earth. After being unearthed by a family of Diggers and renamed "Volnutt", this version of the original Blue Bomber would embark on a journey to find his lost memories and resume performing his assigned task, all while dealing with the Bonnes, a group of pirate siblings, and various other forces that wish to wipe out all life on Earth and return it to a more controlled state.
