- —Galactus
Galactus (born Galan) is a supervillain from Marvel Comics. He appeared in the 187th episode and Season 10 Finale of Death Battle, Galactus VS Unicron, where he fought against Unicron from the Transformers series.
History
Born in a universe that existed before our own, Galan of the planet Taa lived a peaceful life, in a civilization that was said to have been the most advanced of its time. However, due to a plague called the Black Winter, the universe began dying at a rapid pace and Taa was one of the last worlds left. Galan and other survivors sought to escape the decay of their homeworld via a space vessel, but it was eventually engulfed in the cataclysm, which ended the old universe and spawned a new one. Galan, however, did not die. Instead, he was inexplicably merged with the Sentience of the Universe and gestated for billions of years. He would eventually re-emerge into the modern universe as a titan of immense cosmic power, bearing a hunger that could only be sated by devouring entire planets. Some claim he is simply a force of nature, while others say he is struggling from an addiction that he cannot fully control. Regardless, the humble Galan was no more. In his place, was now Galactus. And if he sets his eyes on a world, its days are limited.
