Giorno "GioGio" Giovanna (born Haruno Shiobana) is one the main protagonists of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series. He appeared in the 189th episode of Death Battle, Joker VS Giorno, where he fought against Joker from the Persona series.
History
Born the illegitimate son of Dio Brando, who had several affairs while inhabiting Jonathan Joestar's body, Giorno Giovanna grew up a lonely boy in Italy, suffering neglect from his mother and abuse from his stepfather. He would have been sunken into a life of mediocrity if not for a chance encounter with an injured gang member. The young Giorno saved his life, and the gangster later rewarded him with protection from those seeking to harm him throughout his youth. Moved by his compassion, Giorno grew up seeking to become just like him. Not some petty gangster, but a "Gang-Star", a figure able to protect the weak from the shadows. In time, his hair turned blonde and he operated as a petty thief before signing up to join the mafia group Passione. Within their ranks, he planned to overthrow their elusive leader and turn the organization into a force for good. With a team by his side, as well as his own Stand, Gold Experience, Giorno would go on to break the bonds of fate itself and allow the people of Italy to see brighter days.
