Zamasu, also known as Goku Black, is one of the main antagonists of the Dragon Ball series. He appeared in the 149th episode of Death Battle, Goku Black VS Reverse-Flash, where he fought against Reverse-Flash from DC Comics.
He also appeared in the 40th episode and Season 2 Finale of DBX, Goku Black VS Black Adam, where he fought against Black Adam from DC Comics.
History
Zamasu was once the divine assistant to the Supreme Kai of Universe 10, Gowasu. Though he followed his peaceful teachings at first, his time of observing the universe over his immortal lifespan led him to develop a deep hatred for mortals, considering them to be a mistake that prevented the universe from being the utopia it should. Fed up with the gods' lack of action, he went rogue and created his own plan, "Project Zero Mortals". Taking action, he first slayed his master and stole his Time Ring and Potara earring, becoming Supreme Kai. With his newly stolen power, he traveled to the future to gather the Super Dragon Balls, using them to switch bodies with Son Goku, the one mortal whose strength he viewed was starting to surpass even that of the gods themselves. Upon his wish being granted, he set out to unleash divine judgment upon all mortals in his universe and beyond, and under a new name: Goku Black.
