- —Harley Quinn
Doctor Harleen Quinzel, also known as Harley Quinn, is a supervillainess/anti-heroine from DC Comics. She appeared in the 156th episode and Season 9 Premiere of Death Battle, Harley Quinn VS Jinx, where she fought against Jinx from the League of Legends series.
She also appeared in the 50th episode of DBX, Harley Quinn VS Domino, where she fought against Domino from Marvel Comics.
History
Harleen Quinzel was once a young, brilliant, top-marked psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, tasked with handling some of Gotham City's most difficult and most dangerous criminals. But Quinzel's life would change forever when she was arranged to try and "cure" the asylum's number one inmate: The Joker. Through his manipulation during their many sessions, he would turn Harleen's fascination of him into infatuation and eventually got her to break him out of Arkham. After escaping, the pair hid at Ace Chemicals, the very same place where the Joker was once born, and where he decided to create a new terror for Gotham by pushing Harleen into the same vat of acid that created him. On that day, Harleen Quinzel died, and Joker's newest sidekick was born: Harley Quinn. However, after years of abuse, torment, and abandonment, Harley eventually snapped and decided to leave her beloved Puddin' once and for all. Becoming her own independent woman, Harley lived the life that she truly wanted, frequently swinging between unpredictable psychopath and gold-hearted anti-heroine.
