Exhibition
In a city, Iron Man is flying around when he spots an electronic billboard streaming the news, which shows an image of the Power Stone with the words "POWER STONE STOLEN?!".
Iron Man: Probably could use that Hulkbuster on the right arm.
The image on the billboard transitions to footage of Mega Man X fighting Sigma.
Iron Man: I've got this.
As Tony flies towards X and Sigma's location, X launches a Charge Shot from his X-Buster, which destroys Sigma and causes him to explode, scattering his body parts all over the place. The Power Stone falls from Sigma's head, which X looks at in wonder. Iron Man witnesses X picking up the Infinity Stone, which is then absorbed into his body. He looks behind him just in time to dodge a repulsor blast from Iron Man.
Iron Man: Business calls, so let's make this quick. Lets see who really has the better toys, shall we?
As Iron Man challenges Mega Man X, he launches another repulsor blast at the S-Class Maverick Hunter, who avoids it to jump into the air and send six blasts from X-Buster. The Armored Avenger dodges them and responds by firing three more repulsor blasts, two of which destroy two cars. X sends out three pairs of Twin Slashers followed by three missiles. Iron Man is able to destroy all the projectiles with his repulsor blasts except for the last missile, which causes his Mark III suit to malfunction and make him fly around uncontrollably. As he dashes through the air, X wall jumps to reach his location. Iron Man crashes into a buildings windows before X blasts a Charge Shot that smashes him against a car. He recovers just in time to avoid being stomped by X and launches a missile which X jumps to dodge, causing it to hit the car and set it on fire. X fires two blasts from his X-Buster before Iron Man regains his footing. He sends a trio of Tornado Fangs at Iron Man who blocks with his energy shield, although X throws a Spin Wheel at his feet which destroys the shield, making all four projectiles hit Iron Man. X narrowly dodges a repulsor blast before being punched twice in the head by Iron Man. X ducks to avoid a third punch and electrocutes him with a stream a electricity from his X-Buster. As he prepares to attack once more, Iron Man thwarts his attempt by launching forward a repulsor blast that pushes him back several meters.
Iron Man: Unibeam!
Ready to end the battle, Mega Man X activates his Ultimate Armor and rushes towards Iron Man with his Nova Strike.
Mega Man X: Here we go!
Iron Man: Here's the finish! On red, you can count Iron Avenger!
Responding to X's attack, Iron Man fires a powerful repulsor blast from his suit's Arc Reactor that manages to hold back X.
Iron Man: Here's the big one!
Iron Man amplifies the power of his repulsor blast. Despite this, X is able to push against it and prepares to fire a Charge Shot on Iron Man's face, who says one last line.
Iron Man: Excuse me.
Iron Man's head is blasted away by Mega Man X's charge shot, leaving a burned spot on the ground and taking him out of the fight.
