- —The narrator about Jason Voorhees
Jason Voorhees is the main antagonist of the Friday the 13th series. He appeared in the 168th episode of Death Battle, Jason Voorhees VS Michael Myers, where he fought against Michael Myers from the Halloween series.
History
Jason Voorhees was born into the world with an unfortunate deformity, but was also physically and mentally unique. In the summer of 1957, when his mother, Pamela, could not find a babysitter for her son, she had to bring him to her new job at Camp Crystal Lake. While there, Jason was relentlessly bullied for his looks and behavior. One day, his bullies took it too far, chasing him into the camp's trademark lake, where he tragically drowned, the camp counselers supposed to be watching over the children having casual sex instead. The loss of her son drove Pamela mad, leading her to murder and forcing the camp to shut down. She would have it her way until years later when the camp was reopened. Angered by this, she went on a killing spree once more, but one of the counselors fought back, decapitating her and seemingly ending the killings.
But the murders didn't stop there. Pamela's killer was murdered in her apartment, and there was a new slasher in the area. Jason, to the horror of many, somehow returned from the dead to avenge his mother's death and carried on her quest, killing campers and counselors alike. Many people have tried to send him back to the realm of the dead, but more still have been reduced to bloody pieces. Even when faced with similar supernatural adversaries, Jason has proven that he cannot be killed and cannot be stopped.
