- —Karin Kanzuki
Karin Kanzuki is a protagonist from the Street Fighter series. She appeared in the 57th episode of DBX, Chie VS Karin, where she fought against Chie Satonaka from the Persona series.
History
Born as the next heiress of a wealthy zaibatsu, Karin Kanzuki was raised to always to strive for absolute perfection. Due to her father's desire and disappointment in having a daughter rather than a son, Karin was constantly pushed to become a worthy heir of the Kanzuki family fortune through means of many strenuous tests. As a result of her upbringing and status, Karin had grown up to be rather snobby, with an elitist view on her fighting style as she had maintained quite the winning streak for a while. It was not until she was defeated by Sakura Kasugano would she learn there was more to fighting than just winning; that the fight itself was more important. This loss would help spark her first bond and a friendly rivalry within Sakura, who helped her break out of her snobby mindset. In time, she would not only succeed her father, but also prove herself a fighter capable of aiding in the downfall of the crime syndicate, Shadaloo.
