Lance McClain is one of the main protagonists of the Voltron series. He appeared in the 75th episode of Death Battle, Power Rangers VS Voltron, where he, his teammates, and Voltron fought against the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the Megazord from the Power Rangers series.

History

Lance McClain was part of a scout team that was sent to the planet Arus by the Galaxy Alliance. However, his team's ship was shot down and they were all captured by the forces of Planet Doom and their leader, the tyrannical King Zarkon. After escaping from Planet Doom, Lance and company wound up back on Arus and met Princess Allura in the Castle of Lions. He and the team were organized into the Voltron Force, and Lance acted as their ace, taking control of the Red Lion. With his brash but brave attitude, Lance stood by his team throughout Zarkon's attempts to conquer Arus and destroy Voltron.
