Madara Uchiha is one of the main antagonists of the Naruto series. He appeared in the 154th episode of Death Battle, Madara VS Aizen, where he fought against Sōsuke Aizen from the Bleach series.
History
Madara Uchiha was born the eldest of five siblings during the Warring States Period, and grew up on the battlefield waging constant war with the Uchiha Clan's rivals: the Senju Clan. Three of his siblings died young, leaving Madara with only his younger brother, Izuna. They became very close through their shared loss and constantly competed with each other to get stronger. This, combined with his naturally strong chakra, enabled the young Madara to develop a reputation as both a formidable ninja, and a genius. Eventually, he came to an agreement with his best friend and rival of the Senju, Hashirama Senju, working together to end the Warring States Period and create the Hidden Leaf Village with the intention of beginning a new era of peace.
However, while Hashirama sought peace through cooperation, Madara believed cooperation could only bring about temporary peace, with domination being necessary to keep it. They fought for control of the village, ending in Madara's seeming death. But unbeknownst to anyone, he rewrote his death and went into hiding to work on his plans to end world conflict. Unable to complete it in his natural lifespan, he entrusted his plans to Obito Uchiha shortly before his second death. He would then lie in wait, planning for his eventual resurrection. Bringing his plan into action, Madara would use the power of the Infinite Tsukuyomi to plunge the entire world into an endless, blissful dream; a truly eternal peace.
