- —Marshall Law
Marshall Law is a protagonist from the Tekken series. He appeared in the ninth episode of DBX, Bruce Lee VS The World, where he alongside Liu Kang from the Mortal Kombat series, Fei Long from the Street Fighter series, Rock Lee from the Naruto series, and a Hitmonlee from the Pokémon series fought against real life martial artist and actor Bruce Lee.
History
An American martial artist of Chinese descent, Marshall Law is close friends and sparring partners with fellow fighter Paul Phoenix. Prior to fighting in the King of Iron Fist Tournament, Marshall worked in a Chinatown restaurant to support him and his family. He dreamed of opening his own martial arts dojo one day and joined the tournament to make enough money to realize his dream. Though he didn't win the tournament, he did open up his own dojo in a few years time. Unfortunately, another martial artist named Baek Doo San attacked the dojo and destroyed it, injuring its students in the process and leaving Marshall to enter the second tournament in order to avenge them. Though Marshall's life has not been the easiest one, he never lets it keep him down for long, and he has certainly been successful in following his career as both a martial artist and a chef.
