- —Master Xehanort
Master Xehanort is the main antagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series. He appeared in the 94th episode of DBX, Palpatine VS Xehanort, where he fought against Emperor Palpatine from the Star Wars series.
History
After being raised on the Destiny Islands, Xehanort became a wielder of the Keyblade from a very young age, training under great masters in the World of Scala Ad Caelum. Xehanort learned much about the order of the Worlds during this time, but he also learned of the great Darkness that existed in every single one of them, hidden away by a false light. He desired to change the very structure of the Worlds itself, plotting to use the power of Kingdom Hearts and the χ-blade, the heart of all worlds and the key to unlocking it, to do so and create true balance between darkness and light. Xehanort spent countless years scheming, becoming an enemy to several Keyblade wielders such as his old friend Eraqus and his disciples Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, as well as a young boy named Sora, all while constantly shifting between bodies and "lives" as part of his plan to reach ultimate power. Eventually, after causing the second Keyblade War, he finally obtained the χ-blade, but was finally defeated by Sora once and for all. Forced to accept his defeat and the true light that his enemies possessed, Xehanort was finally defeated, departing for the afterlife.
