Mecha Sonic Mark II is a protagonist from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He appeared in the 19th episode of Death Battle, Eggman VS Wily, where he, Doctor Eggman, and the rest of his army fought against Doctor Wily and his Wily Army from the Mega Man series.
History
Mecha Sonic is a robot designed by Doctor Eggman to destroy Sonic the Hedgehog, serving as one of the earlier mechanical doppelgängers of the Blue Blur, and was first encountered by Knuckles in Sky Sanctuary Zone. While not as fast yet still dangerous, what sets this robotic version of Sonic apart is its ability to transform by absorbing the energy from the Chaos or Master Emeralds to enter his own Super form. After his defeat long ago, he eventually ended up on the shore of Scrapnik Island, a makeshift island created on the debris of an old Death Egg, filled with broken robots forgotten by Eggman. Mecha Sonic was fixed and reprogrammed to not be hostile by E-117 Sigma and became a guardian of the island. And if anyone attempts to harm it or its inhabitants, then he has let them live long enough...
