- —Michael J. Caboose
Captain Michael J. Caboose is one of the main protagonists of the Red vs. Blue series. He appeared in the 136th episode of Death Battle, Red VS Blue, where he and his teammates fought against the Red Team.
History
Captain Michael J. Caboose was one of the newer recruits sent to Blood Gulch as part of the Blue Team. While applying for college, Caboose mistook an army recruiting center in a local strip mall as an exclusive ivy-league university and signed up. After boot camp, Caboose was transferred to a low-gravity outpost on a remote moon. There, he received multiple demerits after endangering several teammates by possessing no concept of how breathing works in space, which then led him to Blood Gulch. He is easily and often the most dim-witted soldier in the entirety of Project Freelancer, as a result of mental trauma and physical brain damage. Because of his intelligence and unusual behavior, Caboose acts very childish, treating serious situations like a silly game, envious for not being favored at some points, and having illogical reasons for his actions, which frequently earns him the scorn and disrespect of his teammates. Despite all that, however, Caboose is loyal to his friends and is often the strong man of the group.
