King Namor McKenzie, also known as the Sub-Mariner, is an anti-hero from Marvel Comics. He appeared in the 104th episode and Season 6 Premiere of Death Battle, Aquaman VS Namor, where he fought against Aquaman from DC Comics.
History
Namor McKenzie was born in the undersea city of Atlantis, and spent his whole life there raised to one day rule it as its king. His mother an Atlantean princess, Fen, and his father an American sea captain, Leonard McKenzie. As such, the pink-skinned Namor was subsequently born among the blue-skinned Atlanteans. Despite his differences, and additional mutant genes, he became a well-respected ruler of Atlantis. Thanks to his heritage, he was given unnatural longevity and superhuman abilities that were impressive to those above and below. While he has regularly worked for multiple heroes over the years, he has never managed to discard a strong-headed and prideful nature that has always led to him butting heads with the very heroes he has coexisted with, always divided between his loyalties to Atlantis and the feeble troubles of the surface world.
