Ness is one of the main protagonists of the Mother series. He appeared in the 88th episode of DBX, Ness VS Sans, where he fought against Sans from the Undertale series.
History
Ness was just a regular boy living in the town of Onett, when one night, he was awoken by the sound of a meteor crashing nearby. After going to investigate, he discovered Buzz Buzz, a beetle-like creature from 10 years in the future. From him, Ness learns of the impending threat of Giygas, an evil alien that has dominated the planet in the future. Buzz Buzz entrusts Ness with the Sound Stone, which he must use to record Eight Melodies from sanctuaries, which will grant him the power to defeat Giygas. After setting off on his journey, Ness would meet Paula, Jeff, and Poo, who would all join him in his quest to save the world.
