Emperor Nolan Grayson (born Nowl-Ahn), also known as Omni-Man, is one of the main protagonists of the Invincible series. He appeared in the 160th episode of Death Battle, Omni-Man VS Homelander, where he fought against Homelander from the The Boys series. He returned for the 188th episode and '24 Premiere, Omni-Man VS Bardock, where he fought against Bardock from the Dragon Ball series.
History
Nowl-Ahn was born on the planet Viltrum, a world of powerful dictatorial purists who only welcomed and spared the strong. The Empire was hellbent on conquering every planet they could, which they did by first infiltrating their societies to weaken the chance of them resisting takeover. Nowl-Ahn was assigned to Earth, where he would help "prepare" it for its inevitable invasion and conquest. Under the name of "Nolan Grayson", he married a human woman named Debbie and earned the trust of the people by operating as the superhero "Omni-Man". Debbie later gave birth to Nolan's son, Mark, who would develop his own powers as a teenager and became the superhero Invincible.
Once his son's powers manifested, Nolan slaughtered Earth's elite superhero team, the Guardians of the Globe. After learning of his father's true nature, Mark refused to join his conquest and fought him. While Nolan won the fight, Mark's love for his father convinced Omni-Man to spare his son and leave Earth. He fled to the planet Thraxa to have a fresh start, having another son there and becoming a genuine hero to its people, but the Viltrumite Empire would soon come after him for abandoning his post. They threatened the Thraxans and his new family, leaving Nolan confused when he fought to protect them, unable to understand how he could feel empathy for such "inferior" beings. Now officially deemed a traitor by the Viltrumites, Nolan would come to learn of his own humanity, eventually reconciling with Mark and siding with him against the Viltrumite Empire to atone for his sins.
