- —Pikachu
Pikachu are creatures from the Pokémon series. One[Note 1] appeared in the 24th episode of Death Battle, Pikachu VS Blanka, where he fought against Blanka from the Street Fighter series.
History
Pikachu are Electric-type mouse-like Pokémon that have become extremely popular due to their cuteness, to the point of having inspired other Pokémon to take on their appearance to gain friends. They evolve from Pichu after experiencing true friendship and can evolve into Raichu by touching a Thunder Stone. Other Pikachu hold the special ability to Gigantamax, changing their form and size dramatically at the cost of being unable to evolve. They are usually friendly and forest-dwelling Pokémon, using the stored electricity in their cheek pouches only to roast hard berries or to defend themselves.
One particular Pikachu began its life as a Pichu living in the outskirts of Pallet Town, adopted by a motherly Kangaskhan. It spent much time in Kangaskhan's pouch alongside her actual baby, becoming more of a strain to the mother with each passing day as both began to grow and gain weight. As Pichu realized this, it ran away in the middle of the night and evolved after feeling immense gratitude. The newly evolved Pikachu was eventually caught by Professor Oak and gifted to Ash Ketchum when all other starter Pokémon were taken. While Pikachu started out very ignorant and disobedient to Ash, the two grew to become strong allies and close friends above all, winning battle after battle. This extremely special Pikachu became one of the strongest known Pokémon around, having defeated powerful Legendary Pokémon and even created new unique battle moves. Nothing will ever stop this Pikachu from achieving Ash's dream of becoming a Pokémon Master.
