Professor Eobard "Zoom" Thawne, also known as the Reverse-Flash, is a supervillain from DC Comics. He appeared in the 149th episode of Death Battle, Goku Black VS Reverse-Flash, where he fought against Goku Black from the Dragon Ball series.
History
Eobard Thawne was a brilliant scientist born in the 25th Century, obsessed with the Speed Force and its champion, Barry Allen, also known as, The Flash. Unknowingly receiving assistance from future versions of himself, Thawne studied the Speed Force at the Flash Museum, created a twisted version of it, and copied Barry down to his costume. Thawne replicated it so well that he used it to travel to the 20th Century to meet Barry, except he miscalucated and traveled to the year where Wally West was the Flash. But upon visiting the Flash Museum there, Thawne learned that he was a nobody in Barry's life and that he was destined to become the Flash’s greatest enemy and antithesis: "The Reverse-Flash". Driven more mad than he already was by this revelation, Thawne embraced his moniker and has since devoted his life to making Barry suffer at any point in time and feeding his insanity and delusion.
