Riptor Units are antagonists from the Killer Instinct series. One appeared in the eighth episode of Death Battle, Yoshi VS Riptor, where she[Note 1] fought against Yoshi from the Yoshi and Super Mario series.
History
The mega-corporation known as Ultratech had made technological advances in science, entertainment, and warfare. Their latest weapon, however, required that they look to the past to better the future. And so, the Riptor Advanced Combat and Infiltration Unit was created; a merger of prehistoric ferocity and hi-tech efficiency. Ultratech would then send their creation to compete in the Killer Instinct tournament. She was defeated by TJ Combo, but was eventually resurrected with cybernetic enhancements. Intelligent, self-sufficient, and practical in bloodshed, Riptor would prove to be a loyal pet for Ultratech, hunting down the individuals that threatened them most, slaughtering them and then devouring any evidence.
