Rock Lee is a protagonist from the Naruto series. He appeared in the 138th episode of Death Battle, Sanji VS Rock Lee, where he fought against Sanji from the One Piece series.
He also appeared in the ninth episode of DBX, Bruce Lee VS The World, where he alongside Liu Kang from the Mortal Kombat series, Fei Long from the Street Fighter series, Marshall Law from the Tekken series, and a Hitmonlee from the Pokémon series fought against real life martial artist and actor Bruce Lee.
History
Rock Lee was born with a defect that prevented him from using ninjutsu or genjutsu, which led him to struggle during his early days at the Ninja Academy. Lee seemed doomed to fall behind every one of his peers, but that all changed when he met his new teacher, Might Guy. Lee vowed to become a powerful ninja without using ninjutsu or genjutsu, which led Guy to take a special interest in Lee, seeing as he had a similar upbringing. He then encouraged Lee to keep at it and, in time, began teaching him the ways of taijutsu. Thanks to Guy's teachings, Lee persevered, and he has since followed Guy’s every principle to the letter, overcoming his weaknesses, and becoming a taijutsu expert.
