- —Rocket Raccoon
Rocket Raccoon is a superhero from Marvel Comics. He appeared in the 175th episode of Death Battle, Stitch VS Rocket Raccoon, where he fought against Stitch from the Lilo & Stitch series.
History
Rocket was originally a normal raccoon...like entity living on a planet called Halfworld. He served as a therapy animal for an insane species of aliens known as Loonies. In order to further protect the Loonies, Rocket and his fellow Halfworlders were forced to undergo multiple cybernetic and genetic enhancements that altered their physicality and intellect, essentially making them anthropomorphic. While Rocket served as a warden for Halfworld for a good portion of his life, he eventually retired from his position and decided to explore the far reaches of space as a mercenary. Unfortunately, he fell into a life of crime and ended up in an intergalactic prison, which turned him jaded and cynical. But it was also where he met the tree alien, Groot, and the two would become close partners. After the two were recruited by Star-Lord, they and several other outcasts teamed up to fight off a Phalanx invasion. It was after this fateful moment that the team known as the Guardians of the Galaxy would form, with Rocket serving as their snarky yet well-intentioned tech and weapons expert... so long as no one calls him a raccoon.
