- —Rogue
Anna Marie LeBeau, also known as Rogue, is a superheroine from Marvel Comics. She appeared in the third episode of Death Battle, Rogue VS Wonder Woman, where she fought against Wonder Woman from DC Comics.
History
Anna Marie was born in Caldecott County, Mississippi, and had developed the mutant ability of absorbing the psyche, life force and powers of others through touch. When she was a teenager, she ran away from her home after subsequently putting a boy she kissed into a coma. She was later taken in by the mutant Mystique, who offered to help control her newfound abilities, in return for recruitment into the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Anna accepted and aided them for a short time until she touched the superheroine Carol Danvers, then known as Ms. Marvel. She had permanently absorbed Marvel’s powers, but also her memories, to the point of almost driving her mad. Anna eventually defected from the Brotherhood and joined the X-Men, who not only helped her control her abilities, but surrounded her with people who truly cared for her. Now known as "Rogue" among their ranks, she helps the X-Men in their battles to protect humanity and ensure peace between human and mutantkind.
