- —Sarge
Colonel Sarge (real name unknown[Note 1]) is one of the main protagonists of the Red vs. Blue series. He appeared in the 136th episode of Death Battle, Red VS Blue, where he and his teammates fought against the Blue Team.
History
Super Colonel Sarge is the leader of the Red Team stationed at Blood Gulch to unknowingly protect the Alpha A.I., as he was chosen for the position specifically due to his incompetence as a leader. Early in his career, Sarge enlisted himself into the United Nations Space Command and began dabbling in robotics, becoming an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, during which Sarge developed a fear of heights from jumping out of ships from orbit. He was later jettisoned from the ODSTs after causing irreparable damage to his units' ship due to building the ship’s navigation A.I. a body. Sarge was then sent to lead the Red Team, locked in a seemingly never-ending fight to defeat the rivaling Blue Team, often with varying degrees of success and "interesting" strategies. Through many misadventures, Sarge somehow managed to turn this band of outcasts into true heroes and befriended their once sworn enemies… even if Sarge still finds new excuses to wage war on them.

After having a short conversation with Boomstick, he slowly backed away and left after he realized that he may or may not be his son that he left behind to join the army.
Sarge makes a small cameo at the end of Macho Man VS Kool-Aid Man, where he can be seen standing in the middle of the woods during the night right next to Mama Boomstick's squirrel-hunting bastion, overhearing Boomstick's laugh and thinking that it reminds him of something... maybe a son that he completely forgot about?
