Season 4 is the fourth season of Death Battle. It premiered on February 1st, 2017, and concluded on December 20th, 2017. It consisted of 16 episodes.

Changes

  • Show rebranded with new logo, graphics, thumbnail design, etc.
  • Sneak peeks of the episode's fight animation are now shown during DEATH BATTLE Cast the week before the episode drops, starting with Scrooge McDuck VS Shovel Knight.
  • Episodes now have a separate commentary track that's released after its initial upload, starting with Venom VS Bane.
  • All episodes' reveal trailers now feature both combatants instead of just one at first before revealing their opponent at a later date, starting with Natsu VS Ace.
  • Stock music and custom fight tracks are used instead of licensed tracks to prevent copyright claims from YouTube, starting with Shredder VS Silver Samurai.
  • All episodes now have a custom fight soundtrack, starting with Thor VS Wonder Woman.
  • Pop-up boxes containing additional information are added to the analyses, starting with Naruto VS Ichigo.
