Serena is one of the main protagonists of the Pokémon series. She appeared in the 80th episode of DBX, Lucario VS Blaziken, where she, Blaziken, Weavile, and Nidoking fought against fellow Pokémon team Lucario and Butterfree.
History
Serena is a Pokémon Trainer from Kalos. When she was young, she met Ash Ketchum at Professor Oak's Pokémon Summer Camp in Kanto. During that time, she got lost in the middle of a forest while trying to find her group. Just then, a wild Poliwag jumped out of the bushes and scared her, causing her to fall on the ground and hurt her knee. Scared and upset, she called out for her mother for help. But moments later, Ash came out of the bushes looking for Poliwag, and came across Serena. Seeing that she was hurt, he bandaged her knee up with his handkerchief and encouraged her by saying "Don't give up till it's over," before helping her out of the forest. Serena would later go back to Kalos, having kept the handerkerchief as a reminder of the day she met Ash. Years later, she would become the trainer of her own Fennekin. After seeing Ash in Kalos on TV, she would find and reunite with him, which led to them going on several life-changing journeys together.
