- —Son Gohan
Son Gohan is one of the main protagonists of the Dragon Ball series. Teen Gohan[Note 1] appeared in the 67th episode and Season 4 Premiere of DBX, Gohan VS Superboy, where he fought against Superboy from DC Comics.
History
Gohan was born the son half-Saiyan son of the legendary martial artist Goku and Chi-Chi. Gohan grew up as a regular boy who was always encouraged by his mother to focus on his studies, until one day he was kidnapped by an alien named Raditz, Goku's brother who had come to reveal to Goku his Saiyan heritage in hopes of recruiting him into the planet-conquering Frieza Force. Refusing, Goku teamed up with Piccolo to save Gohan and defeat Raditz, though he had to sacrifice his own life to do so. Learning from Raditz that two even more powerful Saiyans were coming to Earth, Piccolo took it upon himself to train Gohan, who had the potential to become even stronger than his father.
Gohan was rather timid and had no interest in fighting, which led Piccolo to be rather harsh while training him, but over time, the two developed a close bond together. Eventually, the Saiyans Vegeta and Nappa arrived on Earth in an attempt to conquer it. Despite his training, Gohan found himself too scared to fight, and many of his allies died in the battle, including Piccolo, who sacrificed himself to protect Gohan. Luckily, Goku would be revived by the Dragon Balls and come back in time to save his son. Despite his lack of passion for fighting, Goku saw his son's potential and had him accompany the Z-Fighters on other dangerous missions and trained him to become stronger. Eventually, Gohan would become a confident and legendary warrior just like his father, stepping up to save the world from the likes of Cell when no one else could.

Notes
- ↑ Gohan's DBX episode uses his appearance from the end of the Cell Saga, where he's commonly referred to in official media as "Teen Gohan" despite being around 11 years old at the time (though some media, such as Extreme Butoden, more accurately identifies him as "Kid Gohan" even as a Super Saiyan 2).
