Sonic the Hedgehog is the main protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He appeared in the 13th episode of Death Battle, Mario VS Sonic, as well as the revisit in the 100th episode, where he fought against Mario from the Super Mario series.

He also appeared in the fourth episode and Series Finale of Death Race, Sonic VS Mario VS Star Wars VS Initial D, where he and his Speed Star raced against Captain Falcon from the F-Zero series, Mario from the Super Mario series, Doc Brown from the Back to the Future series, Takumi Fujiwara from the Initial D series, and a Scout Trooper from the Star Wars series.

History

On Earth, a blue hedgehog named Sonic was born on Christmas Island and was gifted with incredible superhuman speed, allowing him to move fast enough to break the sound barrier. In his adolescence, Sonic decided to leave his home to seek adventure across the world and eventually got involved in various conflicts with the mad scientist Doctor Robotnik, better known as "Eggman", who was focused on converting all the animals in the world into robots for his "Eggman Empire". Since then, Sonic has spent most of his life thwarting Eggman's schemes to prevent his entire world from being roboticized. It wouldn't just be Eggman, though, as Sonic has even faced entities that could warp time and space. With his speed, quick thinking, sheer-dare attitude, and ability to tap into the legendary Chaos Emeralds, Sonic has proven his competence as a hero several times and shows no signs of slowing down either.

Sonic makes a small cameo appearance at the beginning of Chuck Norris VS Segata Sanshiro, as he can be seen in a Sega Saturn ad for Sonic R.

Sonic made a cameo in the episode Amy Rose VS Ramona Flowers. He dashes into Leo's Palace to evade his stalker Amy, unintentionally knocking over Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers and starting the fight between Amy and Ramona. After Amy defeats Ramona, she finds Sonic in the building and starts chasing him again.

Sonic makes a minor cameo appearance in Korra VS Storm, as his silhouette can be seen among other Death Battle losers in the Fog of Lost Souls.

At the end of Doctor Eggman's analysis, a 3D animation done by Luis Cruz shows a victorious Eggman, Metal Sonic, and Sage over his collapsing body and the defeated body of Tails.

Sonic made a cameo appearance in Amy VS Sakura, where he bumped into Sakura before the battle started.

Sonic made a cameo in Batman VS Iron Man, where he can be seen in the crowd during the auction.
