Clark Joseph Kent (born Kal-El), also known as Superman, is a superhero from DC Comics. He appeared in the 25th episode and Season 1 Finale of Death Battle, Goku VS Superman, as well as the first rematch in the 50th episode and the proper revisit in the 186th episode, where he fought against Son Goku from the Dragon Ball series.
He also appeared in the 86th episode and Season 5 Finale of DBX, Superman VS Saitama, where he fought against Saitama from the One-Punch Man series.
History
Born on the distant planet of Krypton, Kal-El was sent to the planet Earth by his father, Jor-El, in order to escape his home world's destruction and ensure the survival of his race, as well to protect Earth. Taken in by Jonathan and Martha Kent in Smallville after they stumbled upon his rocket, Kal-El was renamed "Clark" and would eventually learn of his heritage and his powers in his adolescent years, deciding to train himself to master them and use them for the betterment of the planet. After moving to Metropolis and getting a job as a reporter for the Daily Planet, Clark made his first known appearance as "Superman": a hero that would fight for truth, justice, and the American Way. Since then, Superman has fought countless foes from across time and space and aided various other heroes in their endeavors, almost never letting go of his beliefs or code of honor to defend the innocent. Superman has made his name known across the universe as not only a mighty warrior, but as a pure-hearted protector of justice.
