Interlude
The scene opens with the lights flickering on in the arena and the camera panning over to reveal the large crowd of people watching the show. Ringmaster makes his appearance as he steps onto the main stage and walks towards his microphone which he then grabs in order to properly introduce himself to his audience.
Ringmaster: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to MY Arena where there's no rules, no research, only bloodshed! I am Ringmaster! Your announcer, your host extraordinaire for this extravaganza! And let me welcome you, to, the Exhibitiooon!!!
Ringmaster: In today's match we have two unbelievably strong guys, so much so that it's.. almost a joke ha ha! In this corner we have The Kryptonian, the not so disguised disguise wearer, the eyeball laser shooting, SUPERMAN!!! And in the other corner we have the Caped Baldy, the most fearsome man in rubber kitchen gloves, the extremely average and boring SAITAMA!!!
Comparison
Ringmaster: Now what makes these guys so freaking strong?! Superman has those nifty alien jeans. No not those no no, I mean genes like the swirly ladder things. The mitochondria's the powerhouse of the Cell, but this man's got the chlorophyll for the gains. By absorbing the would-be skin cancer from the sun, he gets cut like a marble statue.
We see an animation of a chiseled Ringmaster getting a sunburn.
Ringmaster: Saitama on the other hand got strong from the lack of logic or science. He takes the old "If you believe hard enough, anything is possible" adage and went running with it. Literally, with a crazy workout regimen that would cause more injury than gains, kinda like crossfit, he became uh bald. Powers you ask? No, you don't need that, just be so unbelievably satirically strong that no one can contest you. No laser eyes, No ice breath, just good ol' fashioned punches
We see an animation of a Ringmaster in a bodybuilder attire struggling to lift some weights.
Ringmaster: While Superman's skillset was created by asking a group of kindergarteners what powers they'd want, and putting them into one person, you merge that with a sad backstory and BAM! Superman! Will we see some serious punches? Will we see laser eyes? Do strength trump all? Who flipping knows? So without further ado, let the exhibition BEGIN!!!
Exhibition
The scene opens with Saitama standing around in the city before Doomsday appears behind him. Doomsday then roars in Saitama's face but the Caped Baldy looks at the monster without any reaction before simply punching him away and damaging some buildings. Saitama then looks at his fist with nothing more than a look of boredom before the Man of Steel himself, Superman appears and makes his introduction to Saitama.
Superman: Woah there, I'm gonna need you to stop right where you are.
Saitama doesn't react much to what Superman just said and simply gives a response.
Saitama: Huh? (sighs) I'm in the middle of hero work. I'll sign the autographs later.
Superman then questions who exactly Saitama is...
Superman: What are you, some kind of hero?
...to which the Caped Baldy responds
Saitama: I'm just a guy who's a hero for fun.
Superman then floats down to Saitama and makes a comment about how Saitama's "hero work" has done more damage than good.
Superman: Well, you're doing a sloppy job. You've caused too much damage in the process. I'm gonna need you to come with m—
Before Superman can finish his sentence, Saitama simply interrupts him by punching him, which sends the Man of Steel through a few buildings. Afterwards Superman charges towards Saitama and the collision of the two causes a massive explosion in the city. Superman is then launched into the sky thanks to his new opponent who then appears behind him and punches him square in the face. Superman doesn't take to much damage and instead grows angry as his eyes glow bright red. He then punches Saitama and then follows suit with a punch that sends Saitama to the ground, causing more damage to the city's surroundings. Saitama doesn't react much to the attack and instead makes his famous remark.
Saitama: Okay.
Superman then lands in front of Saitama and the two invincible superheroes start trading a flurry of consecutive punches that only ends when Superman punches Saitama far across the city and causes more collateral damage in the process. We then see Superman panting, and visibly angry at his opponents durability, Saitama only responds by sarcastically calling back to his opponents earlier comment about his hero work.
Saitama: You said I did a sloppy job.
Saitama then rushes towards the Man of Steel and starts landing numerous punches on his opponent which Superman blocks before Saitama delivers one final punch that knocks Superman back a bit. Saitama only looks on with impressiveness at Superman's ability to withstand his punches
Saitama: Hmm, you're able to withstand all of my blows. I'm actually impressed.
Superman: This is not a game!
Superman uses his heat vision to attack Saitama as the Caped Baldy uses his Serious Punch, reflecting the heat vision back and slicing the Man of Steel in half.
Saitama: Now, where was I going?
As Superman's half dead body lands in front of Saitama, the One-Punch Man suddenly remembers where he was going.
Saitama: Oh, right! They had a sale today!Superman charges toward and grabs Saitama to the Sun. As Saitama fruitlessly tries to punch Superman, Superman slams Saitama into the Sun, leaving only his hands remaining.

Trivia
Production
- The core connections between Superman and Saitama are that they are both extremely powerful caped superheroes with extraordinary superhuman physical abilities. In addition:
- Both struggle with social consequences of their immense abilities (Superman often experiences isolation and a heavy sense of responsibility, whereas Saitama struggles with boredom and a lack of challenge).
- This is also a battle of opposites, as while Superman is seen as a beacon of hope and is well respected for both his heroism and strength, Saitama is frequently underappreciated, misunderstood, and underestimated despite his remarkable capabilities.
Easter Eggs
- During the results, "NICE" can be seen in the whole background when Saitama's 69% appears and later once under it, referencing the 69 meme.
