- —The Deep to Ashley Barrett
Kevin Moskowitz, also known as The Deep, is an antagonist from the The Boys series. He appeared in a Bonus episode of Death Battle, The Seven Battle Royale, where he fought against Queen Maeve, A-Train, Starlight, and Billy Butcher.
History
Ever since he was a boy, Kevin Moskowitz had been hearing every aquatic animal speak to him. These aquatic powers were a result of the super serum he was injected with before his birth, Compound V, which eventually led him to become a member of The Seven. While he sees himself as a high ranking member of the team, "The Deep" is a lesser-known member, which results in him being neglected by Vought and seen as a joke by his colleagues. This boiled up negatively in The Deep, causing him to act irresponsible, like when he blackmailed newcomer Starlight into having oral sex with him. After this inevitably leaked, Vought forced The Deep to publicly apologize to Starlight and go on a sabbatical leave that almost ended up permanent. However, after several embarrassing failed attempts to rejoin The Seven, he was eventually invited back in thanks to Homelander, whose boot he now served under. Due to his ego and idiocy helping him make the worst life choices possible, Kevin would continue to dig himself into a hole deeper than even the Mariana Trench.
