- —The Prince
The Prince (real name unknown) is the main protagonist of the Prince of Persia series. He appeared in the 73rd episode of DBX, Ezio VS The Prince, where he fought against Ezio Auditore da Firenze from the Assassin's Creed series.
History
The wisecracking, thrill-seeking adventurer who would be only known as "The Prince", doesn't have any real origin to speak of. What is known is that after departing from his uncle, he became a remarkable thief skilled in the arts of swordsmanship and acrobatics, and was constantly on the search for fame and fortune. One day, having lost his donkey during a sandstorm, he would run into a woman named Elika, a princess hailing from the Ahura tribe possessing the abilities of magical light. She reveals that she was making her way to the sacred temple to stop her father, who had plans of cutting down the Tree of Light which sealed the ancient god of darkness, Ahriman. Deciding to tag along, the two would make their way to the temple but would be met with the King and his men. After a brief scuffle, the King succeeds in destroying the tree, partially unleashing Ahriman onto the world, whom would also possess the King's body. In order to free her father and imprison Ahriman once again, the two would have to traverse through the nearby ancient civilization, purifying the lands of corruption. Though reluctant at first, the Prince joined Elika on her quest, battling the many dark forces that served to plunge the world into darkness.
