- —Tommy Oliver
Doctor Thomas "Tommy" Oliver, also known as the Green Ranger (alternatively the White Ranger), is one of the main protagonists of the Power Rangers series. To differentiate him from other Green Rangers and White Rangers, he is commonly referred to as the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger and Mighty Morphin White Ranger. He appeared in the 37th episode of Death Battle, Tigerzord VS Gundam Epyon, where he, Saba, and the White Tigerzord fought against Zechs Merquise and the Gundam Epyon from the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series. He returned for the 114th episode, Dragonzord VS Mechagodzilla, where he and the Dragonzord fought against Akane Yashiro and Mechagodzilla from the Godzilla series.
History
Thomas Oliver was a new student at Angel Grove, and a prodigious martial artist. Unfortunately, his skills caught the eye of the evil witch Rita Repulsa, who, after suffering defeat at the hands of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, decided to craft a Ranger of her own. Using the long-lost Green Power Coin, she chose the unsuspecting Tommy to be her chosen Ranger, the Green Ranger. For a time, Tommy proved to be her trump card against even the Rangers' best, but he was turned back to the good side thanks to the destruction of the Sword of Darkness. Afterwards, he became a powerful ally to the Rangers, but lost his original Green Ranger powers to Zedd. Despite this, his spirit remained unbroken, and he did his best to support his friends from the sidelines. In time, he was granted new power by Zordon, and became the White Ranger. He would go on to wear many different Ranger colors and aid many different Rangers, making himself a legend among the ranks.
