Captain Trafalgar D. Water Law is a protagonist from the One Piece series. He appeared in the 83rd episode of DBX, Kenshin VS Law, where he will fight against Kenshin Himura from the Rurouni Kenshin series.
History
Like his nickname, "The Surgeon of Death", implies, the ex-warlord of the sea's story is one born out of horror and death. Trafalgar Law lived in the once-flourishing country of Flevance in the North Blue with his parents and younger sister, Lami. Tragedy struck, and his parents were killed in front of him, his sister burned along with his parents' hospital, and everyone he knew died of the Amber Lead Syndrome. The World Government also slaughtered some of the people in the country to keep the plague at bay. As the sole survivor, he crawled his way out of the city among the dead bodies of his countrymen.
However, death was only the beginning for poor Law, as he went to the new world to forge a new path while battling the disease that could take his life anytime. Law eventually found his way into the web of the infamous Donquixote Doflamingo, in which he met his brother, Donquixote Corazon. Law and Corazon formed a strong bond, and the latter got him the Devil Fruit that cured him of his disease. But their happiness was cut short when Doflamingo killed Corazon, and the only joy Law sought after the eradication of his countrymen came to a halt. Now possessing the power of the Ope Ope no Mi Devil Fruit, Law seeks revenge against Doflamingo for his crimes.
