(note: my descriptions for each character is going to be shorter and liklely less comprehensive than My top 10 least favorite DB combatants. as honestly it's not really needed)
10. Guts[]
how you do dark and gritty right without it being annoying or cringy.
9. Toph Beifong[]
she may not be the first character to do the whole "blind yet powerful" thing but she is the first one in Death Battle, and even beyond that her personality still sets her apart from the rest in that regard.
8. Samurai Jack[]
One of the coolest samurai in fictional history (and he wasn't even made by a Japanese studio) and is surprisingly deap by mid 2000's cartoon standards.
7. Darth Vader[]
It's Darth fucking Vader, does it really need to explaining?
6. Ramona Flowers[]
She is a shinning example of a love interest done right. Ramona has deep characterization and can hold her own in the world but she doesn't take away from the main character of the story (Scott Pilgrim).
5. Kirby[]
A hungry pink puffball that can copy the abilities of those it fights and is able to defeat things that, at first glance, would otherwise appear to be outside of it's pay grade. what is there not to love?
4. Astro Boy[]

One of the oldest and most enduring Japanese animated characters and his classic adventures are still among my favorites.
3. Thor[]
His solo stories are some of the most amazing Marvel comics Marvel has ever put out, even to this day they still stand above the rest, otherwise there is nothing much to say, he is Thor.
2. Mario[]
It's Mario...need not say more.
1.Scrooge McDuck[]
almost universally amazing comics, not one but two amazing animated shows, and three games that are more fun than they otherwise have any right being? come on, it shouldn't be any surprise why Scrooge McDuck holds my number one spot.
