- —Wario
Wario is the main protagonist of the Wario series and a protagonist from the Super Mario series. He appeared in the 108th episode of Death Battle, Wario VS King Dedede, where he fought against King Dedede from the Kirby series.
History
Wario is the complete and total antithesis to Mario in every way, his bitterness dating all the way back to his and Mario's childhood. Whereas Mario grew up to be a selfless and optimistic hero, Wario grew into a greedy and self-centered anti-hero. Once, he took over Mario's personal castle while Mario was away on a mission, but he was quickly defeated when Mario returned. But this defeat didn't end his wish to own a castle; no, it made him want one even more. He has since devoted his entire life to getting as rich as possible and as quick as possible, ranging from petty thievery to full-on adventuring in lost tombs to starting his own video game company and tricking his friends to do all the work for cheap. While Wario loves gold, he isn't stingy, and will often waste all of his hard-earned cash in an instant. Regardless, none of this has ever distracted Wario from trying to one up his rival in any way possible.
