The Wily Army is an organization from the Mega Man series. It appeared in the 19th episode of Death Battle, Eggman VS Wily, where it consisted of Mets, Sniper Joes, Bunby Helis, Changkey Makers, Paozos, the Yellow Devil, Guts Man, Metal Man, Slash Man, Magnet Man, Sheep Man, Napalm Man, Pharaoh Man, Bass, and the Wily Machine, and with Doctor Wily, fought against Doctor Eggman and his Eggman Empire from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
History
In a far-off future where humans and robots peacefully co-exist, the genius yet twisted Doctor Wily has continuously sought to ruin that peace with several maniacal schemes to showcase his sheer brilliance to the world. Wily first began his global conquest by reprogramming the robot creations of his rival, Doctor Thomas Light, into fierce generals dubbed the "Robot Masters", to lead the vast legions of lesser mechanical troopers Wily built. Assembled together, they formed the expansive Wily Army, specializing in solid defense and enough ranged firepower to definitely take over the world, if not for Light's own fighting robot, Mega Man, constantly foiling his plans. But like the machines he commanded, Wily would evolve with every loss. And over the years, his forces only became more sophisticated and relentless, with numerous towering mechs and even creations designed to be the Blue Bomber's superior. Anyone brave enough to stand against him should never expect victory — only a never-ending battle against an ever-evolving army of machines built for destruction.
