Yamcha is a protagonist from the Dragon Ball series. He appeared in the 43rd episode of DBX, Krillin VS Tien VS Yamcha, where he fought against fellow human Z-Fighters Krillin and Tien Shinhan.
History
Yamcha spent his life growing up in the Diablo Desert with his close companion, a shape-shifting cat named Puar. Yamcha would spend his days robbing travelers and fighting anyone who crossed his path. He would eventually cross paths with Son Goku, Bulma, and Oolong, and attempted to steal their belongings. He fought Goku who ended up being unable to continue fighting due to being exhausted from hunger, but Yamcha would bail when he saw Bulma due to his fear of women. Yamcha would soon spy on the group and caught wind of the legendary Dragon Balls, which could grant one wish when all seven were gathered. Deciding to use them to get over his fear, he decided to follow the group behind their backs, but after a few more misadventures, Yamcha would end up not only joining Goku's group of friends, but even start dating Bulma, although they eventually broke up. Even still, no matter how much heartbreak or death he suffers, Yamcha would continue to stick by Goku and his friends for many years to come, always ready to protect Earth from any that may harm it.

Yamcha appeared before the battle in Goku VS Superman, where he watched the news about Superman's heroic deeds on TV alongside the rest of the Z-Fighters.
