Zatanna Zatara is a superheroine from DC Comics. She appeared in the 157th episode of Death Battle, Scarlet Witch VS Zatanna, where she fought against Scarlet Witch from Marvel Comics.
History
Zatanna Zatara is the daughter of the world-famous magician Giovanni Zatara and Sindella, a member of the mystical Homo Magi race. Growing up, Zatanna wished to follow in her father’s footsteps to supposedly take up traditional smoke-and-mirrors shows. But she soon discovered the magic was not only real, it was on so vast of a scale that few can hope to comprehend it. Her father then suddenly went missing, but she eventually tracked him down in the realm of Kharma. He revealed he was forced to stay away from her due to a spell from the evil sorceress, Allura. Despite rescuing her father, this experience helped Zatanna realize the vast scope of her abilities and the responsibility they require. Through backward-speech, a little creativity, and an optimistic attitude, Zatanna grew to be both a magnificent stage magician, and an excellent superhero in her own right.
