Commander-in-Chief Zechs Merquise (born Milliardo Peacecraft) is a protagonist from the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series. He appeared in the 37th episode of Death Battle, Tigerzord VS Gundam Epyon, where he and the Gundam Epyon fought against Tommy Oliver, Saba, and the White Tigerzord from the Power Rangers series.
History
Known as the “Lightning Count“ for his fighting style, Zechs Merquise is one of the most feared mobile suit pilots of OZ. However, unbeknownst to everyone, Zechs was actually Milliardo Peacecraft, the last heir to the throne of the Sanc Kingdom, which has been destroyed by the United Earth Sphere Alliance. In his quest for revenge, Milliardo put on a mask and worked his way up in the ranks of his enemies to eventually betray them. He is known for his amazing piloting skills and being a warrior with little match, not to mention his constant changing of sides on a whim, all the while seeking to find out what he truly believes in and what side truly appeals to him. He also often clashed with Heero Yuy and his Wing Gundam, although he would later save them in an apparent self-sacrifice.
