- —Zuko
Fire Lord Zuko is one of the main protagonists of the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. He appeared in the 131st episode of Death Battle, Zuko VS Shoto Todoroki, where he fought against Shoto Todoroki from the My Hero Academia series.
He also appeared in the 92nd episode of DBX, Zuko VS Roy, where he fought against Roy Mustang from the Fullmetal Alchemist series.
History
Zuko was born into the family of the Fire Nation's royals, disdained by his father, Fire Lord Ozai, and the object of his sister Azula's manipulation, ridicule, and deception. Zuko was banished from his home and stripped of his birthright after an act of insubordination to his abusive father, who punished him by giving a burn scar on the left side of his face. He then spent years searching the world for the one person that would win him back his honor: the Avatar, which he found in the form of the young Aang. In the end, however, he witnessed Aang's boundless compassion, and learned what the world truly thought of the Fire Nation. Zuko then chose to make his own legacy rather than follow that of his father and royal ancestors, eventually joining Aang in ending the Hundred Year War and becoming the new Fire Lord, and in time, becoming a founder of the United Republic of Nations.
